HACK: Mavic Pro Vintage WWII Ammo Bag

In News by Doc North

I love my Mavic Pro, and even before I got it, I had fantasies of a holster that I could whip the Mavic out of. (Yes, I’m currently having one made by a leather worker in Changsha, China).

The other day, I was walking through a small town in Northern California and stumbled into a secondhand shop. Inside, I spotted a vintage WWII ammo bag and thought, “That’d be just perfect for my Mavic.”

Once home, I gutted an old camera bag of its dividers and padding, and retrofit it inside of the WWII Ammo bag. The drone and controller slip in perfectly, and there is even a spot for extra propellers and my Gear 360 camera mount
